I think that clay is an awesome character and he didn't really do anything wrong in the decision of Hannah killing herself. Clay was involved in the tapes because He liked Hannah but was ashamed of what people had said and thought of her. I think that He is an idiot for listening to people and there thoughts about Hannah. He should of got to know her, and maybe he could of changed her mind about deciding suicide. Hannah also liked Clay. I do not like Marcus at all, he had no right to try and put the moves on Hannah. I feel that he only did that because of the rumors going around about Hannah, so he thought he could try and maybe hook up with her. I think that all of the main characters played a good part in the book but my favorite characters were clay and Hannah. Maybe because they both were the major main characters. I think that if clay would of talked to Hannah and not left the room that night at the party things would have been different. Yea he was just doing what she wanted because he liked her but he should have told her how he felt. Courtney was my least favorite character in the book because she used Hannah and made her feel like shit. She was a bad friend and really didn't see what she was doing to Hannah. I think Courtney liked Hannah but didn't take the time to get to know her as a person, or try to really be a good friend. That's my views on my favorite characters and how i think they had a greater impact on Hannahs decision of suicide.
