As much as i hate reading i managed to finish Thirteen Reasons Why in only a couple days. It's not that i hate reading it's the fact that every book i have been given to read was not interesting to me. I don't have the time, or energy to sit down and read a book. This book was so down to earth and makes you feel like your part of the book, or right in the story. I would recommend this book to anyone who wants to feel like they're apart of the story, or even if someone has had a suicidal friend, or family member. This book relates to small towns, and reminds me of my high school and some of the drama that went on at my high school. Suicide is a serious problem and may cause problems within families or friends. You should take someone talking about suicide very seriously. This books explains how and why a young girl decided suicide was the only way out. I most definitely would not change a thing in this book because everything was said directly to the point and it actually sounds like something that would happen amongst a teenage girl and her peers. I think that everything in this story falls perfectly into place and i cannot think of one thing i would add, take out, or change about it. I do not think anyone could have put the story in a better way. It was a great book.

Very thoughtful, Nicole. I'm happy you found a connection to the novel.
